Tim Schulte received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1999 and the M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina in 2003. Tim’s experience includes more than 10 years of electronic circuit design and system development for military, industrial, and commercial applications.
Tim is currently a co-owner and Senior Design Engineer at Neoventus Design Group, LLC in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has also served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at ADI Engineering, Inc. (2008 – 2012), an Electrical and Test Design Engineer for GE Fanuc Automation, (2003 – 2008); the director of mathematics at the US Navy’s Nuclear Field ‘A’ School (2002 – 2003), and an instructor of electrical theory at the US Navy’s Nuclear Power School (1999-2002).
Tim is accomplished in the development of high-speed, low-power microprocessor and FPGA based designs. He has designed embedded systems based on a variety of processor architectures including those from Intel (Menlow, Tunnel Creek, Luna Pier, Cedar Trail, and Ivy Bridge), Renesas, Freescale, Atmel, CEL, and others. Tim has also developed logic for complex FPGAs on a variety of device families from Altera, Xilinx’s and Lattice. Tim has lead engineering teams on numerous projects.
